PEOPLE

The Management of ACTS from day to day is in the hands of Rev. Dr. Sid Garland, Executive Director (see below) and Rev. Luka Vandi, BD, MTh, General Manager (pictured on the left). They are ably assisted by section and branch managers plus other workers. (ACTS now has close to twenty national workers.) The Management are answerable to the Board of Directors and Trustees of ACTS.

ACTS produces an annual report and audited statements of accounts. ACTS reports annually on its activities as a non-profit trust to the Corporate Affairs Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The Board of Directors of ACTS is made up of the following people:

Dr Danny McCain - ACTS Chairman, lecturer at the University of Jos, and International Director of the International Institute for Christian Studies (IICC) (www.iicc.org).

Rev Dr Sid Garland - ACTS Executive Director, senior lecturer at the Theological College of Northern Nigeria (TCNN) (www.tcnn.org) and missionary with Mission Africa (www.missionafrica.org.uk), also an Action Partners Associate (www.actionpartners.org), serving under Church of Christ in Nigeria (COCIN), a minister and missionary of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

Dr Scott Cunningham - ACTS Secretary, Accreditation Secretary for the Accrediting Council for Theological Education in Africa (ACTEA) (www) and missionary with SIM (www.sim.org), serving under the Evangelical Church of West Africa (ECWA).

Rev Dr Joseph Ilori - formerly at Head of Department of Education, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Prof Ilori is now the President of the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomosho.

Mr Barnaba Dusu - Bible Translator with Berom Translation Board, under the Wycliffe-linked Nigeria Bible Translation Trust (NBTT), and Chairman of the Christian Rural and Urban Development Association of Nigeria (CRUDAN), and an elder statesman in state and church (COCIN).

Pastor David Pofi - well known pastor, speaker, counsellor and author attached to the Headquarters Church (Jos) of the Church of Christ in Nigeria (COCIN).

Miss Lois Fuller - lecturer at United Missionary Church of Africa (UMCA) Theological College, Ilorin, former director of Nigeria Evangelical Missionary Institute (NEMI), missionary with World Partners (from the Missionary Church).

Mr Andy Horlings - ACTS Treasurer, missionary from the Christian Reformed Church of North America. Andy works part-time with ACTS and part-time with the Back to the Bible Hour (www.backtogod.net/).

Mr Timothy Olonade - former director of CAPRO Media, now Chief Executive of Nigeria Evangelical Missionary Association (www.NigeriaMissions.org).

Rev Dr Timothy Palmer - Senior Lecturer of the Theological College of Northern Nigeria (www.TCNN.org), serving under the Christian Reformed Church of Nigeria (CRCN), missionary of the Christian Reformed Church of North America.
